RiChu, which means sun rise or the start of a new day, is on a mission.  According to the CDC, two out of every three of us are currently over weight.  Half of those are clinically obese.  At the current ate of growth, 75% of us will be overweight and 41% of us will be obese in the next 5 years, and in less than 20 years 50% of us will be clinically obese!

Due to obesity, today's children will likely be the first generation since the Civil War that will not live as long as their parents did. Obesity related diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer and early death are all on a dramatic rise. If nothing changes it is very likely that obesity in America will bankrupt our health care system.
